Hotel Leon Bianco is located inside Palazzo Cortesi-Lolli, a 15th-century building, but with much more distant origins as part of the ancient defensive walls of San Gimignano. A place steeped in history, between Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Cisterna, where the lives of merchants and nobles once intertwined, the beating heart of the city.
The Hotel Leon Bianco has belonged to our family for three generations, although sometimes we wonder if it is not the other way around. We used to live right above the hotel and, for everyone, home and hotel merged into one. As children we would run in the corridors, friends would stop in the lobby and on Sundays we would have breakfast with the guests. Many years have passed, but the spirit has remained the same. Together with our staff - who have been with us for so long and are part of the family - we continue to cultivate our passion for hospitality, so that what is 'home' for us can also become home for those who choose to stay at the Hotel Leon Bianco.
