The Hotel Leon Bianco is located within the ZTL of the historical centre of San Gimignano.
If you are arriving by car and have small luggage, we recommend parking at P2 (Montemaggio) and taking your hand luggage to the hotel, which is about 400 m away. Otherwise, you can drive to the hotel to unload your luggage and then park outside the city centre in one of the pay car parks that are a few minutes' walk from the hotel.
PLEASE PROVIDE THE NUMBER PLATE OF YOUR CAR BEFORE ARRIVING IN SAN GIMIGNANO.
DIRECTIONS TO THE HOTEL BY CAR: Once you reach the entrance to the city, continue along the ring road following the signs for car park no. 3 'Bagnaia'. After the car park you will find a traffic light where the restricted traffic zone begins, but entry is permitted for unloading and loading luggage. After the traffic lights you will enter the walls and have to go straight on for about 200 metres. Take the 2nd street on the left (Via delle Romite) where you will also find signs for the hotel and Piazza della Cisterna; continue for about 300 metres until you reach a traffic light and a small archway to pass under. After a short climb, turn right into Via del Castello and continue on to the hotel. On the square, parking is permitted for approximately 10-15 minutes.
The satellite navigator may indicate incorrect routes in the centre of San Gimignano; therefore, we advise you to follow our directions. Access to the ZTL is permitted ONLY on the route indicated by us!

The car parks are located just outside the wallsa few minutes' walk from the hotel. They are guarded and chargeable.

From the A1 motorway, take the Siena-Florence and go out to Poggibonsi North. From there, follow the directions to San Gimignano (11 km). At the entrance to the city, near the car park no. 3 Bagnaia, you will find the traffic lights signalling the start of the ZTL. You can enter for the luggage loading/unloading and follow the directions to theHotel Leon Bianco.
Go down to the Poggibonsi station and continue by taxi or public bus (runs approximately every hour) to San Gimignano. If you prefer, we can book for you a private transfer service.
The nearest airports are: Pisa Galileo Galilei and Florence Amerigo Vespucci. From there you can reach San Gimignano by train or taxi. If you wish, we can organise a private transfer directly to the hotel.
