If you are driving from North or from Florence airport take the highway A1, exit in "Firenze-Certosa" and take the freeway SI-FI (Siena-Firenze) direction Siena.
Exit in "Poggibonsi Nord" and follow the sign to San Gimignano that is 11 Km away.
If you arriving from South on the highway A1 exit in "Valdichiana-Bettolle" and follow the sign to Siena. Take the freeway SI-FI (Siena-Firenze) direction Firenze and exit in "Poggibonsi Nord".
Then follow the sign to San Gimignano that is 11 Km away.
If you are arriving from the airport Leonardo da Vinci in Fiumicino take the highway A-12 direction Civitavecchia and keep driving following for Grosseto and then Siena.
Once arrived in Siena follows signs to Firenze and take the freeway SI-FI (Siena-Firenze) direction Firenze.
Exit in Poggibonsi Nord and follow sign for San Gimignano that is 11 Km away.
If you arriving from Pisa or Pisa airport follow direction to Firenze and take the freeway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI).
Continue towards Firenze and take the exit in Ponte a Elsa.
Here follow signs to Castelfiorentino and Certaldo. Once arrived in Certaldo follow sign to San Gimignano that is 12 Km away.
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL BY CAR: Once you have reached the city walls of San Gimignano, keep on driving around them following directions for parking place n. 3 "Bagnaia". Once you have passed the car park, you will enter the old town after the traffic lights. Go ahead despite a sign allowing only residents and drive through the gate at Porta San Jacopo, continuing for about 200 metres. Take the second street on your left and continue straight for about 300 metres until you get the second traffic lights. Drive through the small gate and, turn right after 50 metres and continue straight untill you reach the hotel.
You are allowed to park the car in the square for 20 minutes.
All car parks are outside the city old walls. They are guarded, pay and at few minutes walking from the hotel.
From April to October there is a shuttle service. Every 30 minutes a shuttle runs from each car park to the centre of the city where we are. The ticket costs 0,50 cents.
